The trends from Fall 2024 NYLBFW will *seriously* predict what you can expect most every bride to be wearing next year. It’s the closest thing you’ll ever get to having a crystal ball.
As we saw at Spring 2024 NYLBFW, black dresses were popping up everywhere. It seemed like the new cool thing to do, and we were totally vibing with it. Galia Lahav’s black dress from their AMOR Collection, for instance, was the first time they’d dabbled in color and Head Designer, Sharon Sever, did a fantastic job creating the black dress that was just the right amount of seductive, romantic, and timeless. And, of course, Maggie Sottero Designs debuted a baby blue dress that was captivating and beautiful. Honestly, we couldn’t stop talking about it over here. The dress deserved a moment of its own.
Buuut, this season we’re seeing many more colored wedding dresses, even a couple gold ones because you’re royalty on your big day, duh! So, which colors are in? Well, all of ‘em, but especially blush and baby blue. Anddd we can’t forget about silver, we’re seeing a lot of silver. Nevertheless, black wedding dresses are here to stay and we’re *so* okay with that.
