Getting married in a Galia Lahav is seriously a trend among celebrities and public figures. Case in point: On June 17th famed makeup artist and social media beauty-guru Karen Sarahi Gonzalez tied the knot with popular influencer Sebastian Robles in, not one but, two Galia Lahav gowns.
Yes, this is the fourth summer celeb wedding where the bride stole the show in a glamours GL wedding gown. And another trend: dress changes. Wearing one wedding dress is fabulous, but two, three or more…. Oh, my — sign us up! Can you say lavish? That is definitely one of the only words that can be used to describe this dreamy wedding ceremony and reception.
Karen (best known by her alias Iluvsarahii) chose a custom MAYA for the ceremony. And if this sounds familiar, it is, because earlier this summer Simon Biles wore a custom MAYA for her own post-ceremony celebration (see for yourself).
What makes the MAYA so special? Without custom alterations, it’s a fitted, semi-sheet mermaid gown that aligns with this year’s trends of 3D embroidered flowers, but over silk tulle. Other highlights include the off-the-shoulder straps, low illusion back, and sheer inserts with a caviar tulle train.

Then after the first dance, Iluvsarahii switched into a custom ESTELLE by GL.
Like the MAYA, the ESTELLE is a sheer mermaid dress in its original (read: non-customized) form. It has a beaded fishnet and fringe detail with hand embroidered floral accents. We can’t decide what we love more: the plunging V-neckline, the drop low back, or the detachable sleeves.

And if you’re inspired by Karen’s style, you might’ve picked up on a few other little wedding planning details and decisions. Namely, the white roses and peonies that appeared to be the florals of choice, and her choice of bridesmaid dresses: long black dresses in a variety of cuts and styles.
