Everything Your Bridal Slumber Party Needs to be Reminiscent of “Princess Diaries”

It doesn’t matter what age you are, we know it, you know it, the Princess Diaries movies were romantic, fun, whimsical, oh, and did we say a royal dream come true?! It’s been decades (that’s what it feels like at least) since Princess Diaries 2 graced our screens. Now, word is they are coming out with a Princess Diaries 3 (you totally just jumped up for joy, didn’t you?). It’s been in the works for more than a second apparently. Will it be soon that we get to regale in it? We have no idea, but either way, hello, this is groundbreaking news… but first, we need a moment to have a look back on the wedding in Princess Diaries 2 that pulled at our heart strings. It didn’t matter whether or not you were rooting for Lord Nicholas Devereaux to have a HEA with Mia Thermopolis or another eligible suitor. Everyone just wanted Mia to have her HEA! Anyywayys, off the soap box we go.

For everyone who’s been planning their wedding since they were little, Mia Thermopolis’ wedding was sure to cross your mind, or, at the very least, her dress that was totally classic and timeless. The off-the-shoulder wedding dress was covered in lace and we were obsessed with it!

It screamed iconic, and had total Grace Kelly vibes. Fast forward many, many years and you can now say it has Princess Claire of Belgium vibes, who wore Edouard Vermeulen of Natan for her nuptials. The look was so reminiscent of that from the movie, you simply have to do a double-take. Go ahead, take a look (or two) !

But before she even made it down the aisle (barely), she had a bridal shower that was E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Our advice: ditch the bridal shower and have a bridal slumber party. Okay, so Julie Andrews’ won’t be there singing, but it’ll still be epic no doubt. How are we so sure about that? We’ve put together some of our favorite ideas on what to wear for a kickin’ slumber party fit for royalty. It is alllll about the attire, right?!
