You likely know your zodiac sign based on your birthday, but did you know that your wedding date has a zodiac sign too? Astrology has long been a tool used to observe personalities, but when it comes to your union, it may be able to help determine the future of your union. More so, it can help bridge gaps between a couple, enabling empathy and confidence in a love story. Or so that’s what Lumi Pelinku tells us. Lumi Pelinku is a professional astrologer and women’s transformation coach in NYC and she has shared with us insights on marriage horoscopes.
Let’s Skip the Cynicism
“A couple’s synastry reveals the characteristics each spouse will bring to the table involving their progression,” Pelinku shares. “At the same time, the wedding date draws in the filter and whether they will navigate through in alignment with their relationship signatures. The wedding chart, when cast, has to complement the couple. It takes on a more active role in what the couple will be working with while they are married. It extends an additional layer of experiences and opportunities for them to grow, and can allow the couple to thrive as it can enhance their strengths while better equipping them to sort out their weaknesses in the union. Every celestial point in the birth chart presents the tools the couple will work within their
Planets and Wedding Charts
Pelinku explains, by way of example, “The key factor of the wedding chart cast is to look at the love planets, Venus and Mars, and what aspects they make with each other. These two celestial points will determine the love, values, and physical drive/sexuality of the partnership. This also applies to the other planets in question. The inner planets will be more of the active agents of influence for the couple (everyday life), while the outer planets are more of the longer-term lessons (soul evolution).”
She goes on to say, “Also, looking at the moon sign and the wedding chart's position will invoke the emotionality and security the couple will navigate in their marriage. The moon's position in a couple’s chart is also one of the most important factors to consider in the wedding chart. It is best to work with the moon waxing in a wedding chart and avoid eclipse season when your wedding is held.”
“When casting a wedding chart, looking out for the individual's needs involving love and values is essential. This is best done by looking at each spouse’s birth chart, sifting through how they navigate love and life. Realistically, every person has strengths and weaknesses, as there is no ‘perfect’ birth or wedding chart.

♊️ Gemini: May 21 - June 20
Gemini: Long discussions and engaging the mind will be your motto as a union. With Mercury, the messenger planet, on your side, you are in for a flow of non-stop information and debates. ♋️ Cancer: June 21 - July 22
Cancer: The Moon is the ruler of your love, and this sets the tone of a stable home, love, and family. This placement can be emotion-filled, and the sensitivity can run high. Hold space for communicating your wants and needs, as this union may be introverted, and assuming each party can read the other may create a misstep in long-term plans.
♌️ Leo: July 23 - August 22
Leo: This solar-ruled union can expect marriage themes involving fun, regality, and pride. The creativity has to run wild, and becoming accepting and honoring each other’s individuality is vital for this marriage to thrive. Have regular discussions about each other’s plans and cheer each other on no matter what stage you are in your journey.
♍️ Virgo: August 23 - September 22
Virgo: Mercury rules your marriage story, and this love will be service-oriented, caring, and organized. Hone in on getting in touch with vulnerability and focus on your love to find your balance.
♎️ Libra: September 23 - October 22
Libra: The pristine Venus rules your marriage, and this is a sweet union filled with endearing and romantic gestures. Maintaining appearance and a constant need for perfection may be the kryptonite of this partnership, as your true feelings may reside behind a façade. Get into practice expressing what is on your mind before you fester it in a blowout later.
♏️ Scorpio: October 23 - November 21
Scorpio: Pluto, the planet of sex, regeneration, and mystery, rules your love. Your marriage has a dark edge of power, control, and intensity as you will constantly evolve with each other. Love grows as you become understanding of each other’s human imperfections. Engaging with empathy and inner work will assist your relationship and bridge misunderstandings.
♐️ Sagittarius: November 22 - December 21
Sagittarius: Travels, aspirations, and higher learning will nourish this Jupiter-ruled marriage. Your love story has a bohemian touch as you will learn that freedom and expansion will evolve you to a higher state. There is a tendency to get lost in the ideas and veering off into a faraway land, physically or mentally. Organize a set of goals to pursue professionally and intimately as a couple. Structure is key to keeping this union secure.
♑️ Capricorn: December 22 - January 19
Capricorn: As Saturn leads the marriage dynamics, this partnership will be filled with structure, goals, and success. You may enwrap yourselves into becoming doers instead of dreamers in your love. It will be nourishing to lighten up and enjoy the infinite opportunities of your love story by enjoying all that you built—book regular vacations or getaways to add a dash of fantasy.
♒️ Aquarius: January 20 - February 18
Aquarius: This union will be community-based, otherworldly, spacey, and modern. With the planet Uranus ruling the course of your love, there may be periods of separation and independence. It is not necessarily going to result in a finite parting of ways. However, it can result in feeling the need for autonomy while focusing on the greater good of humanity. Arranging periodic couples retreat programs can boost your confidence in your love while building intimacy.
♓️ Pisces: February 19 - March 20
Pisces: Neptune, the planet of mysticism, dreams, and divinity, will infuse this union. It is as though you are walking through a dream that morphs in alignment with your beliefs and is shaped by your creative vision. Your thoughts and actions will reflect the tone of this union in a divinely touched way. Your union can get overly emotional and misty as you may fall too deep with your unspoken sensitivity. Get grounded by expressing your feelings and arrange regular heart-to-heart discussions.
